Charles Allan Davis was born in San Diego. Growing up in Southern California meant enjoying the sun and sea…surfing, fishing, sailing and just plain having fun, but also working as an auto assembler, lath and plasterer. He knows what it is like to work with his hands as a laborer. He enjoyed playing football and baseball in high school and college.

He also attended UCLA graduating from California State University at Los Angeles after which he got married and "moved up" to the Bay Area to attend law school at Golden Gate University. After becoming a lawyer, he started working for the well known trial lawyer Bergen van Brunt learning the litigation ropes.

Marin County YMCA parent of the year, Commodore Richardson Bay Yacht Club, member of American Inn of Court, Consumer Attorneys of California, California Employment Attorneys Association, e clampus vitus; Judge pro tempore for the San Francisco and Marin County Superior Courts; Special Master for the California State Bar. Charles A. Davis has received seven awards for pro bono work for those in need.

When not practicing law, Charles trekked most of the John Muir trail, hiked over 750 miles in the Sierra, climbed Mt. Shasta, Mt. San Gregorio, Mt. San San Jacinto, and Mt. Whitney (four times). He enjoys fishing and fly fishing, gardening, golfing and spending time with his three children and granddaughter.

Having worked as both an x-ray and surgery technician gave him a thorough knowledge of human anatomy and medical practices which has been invaluable in litigating personal injury cases.

Having worked for the California Employment Development Department for 10 years has given him experience in handling employment cases.
